I'm Proud of Bangladesh Taekwondo Union

As a student training at the Bangladesh Taekwondo Union, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The professionalism and dedication of the coaches have played a huge role in helping me grow, not just as a Taekwondo practitioner but also in terms of personal development. Their focus on perfecting techniques, building strength, and teaching the core values of Taekwondo—discipline, respect, and perseverance—has been truly inspiring.

The training sessions are well-structured, with a great balance of physical conditioning and technique drills. What I love most is the supportive environment. Everyone, from beginners to more experienced students, is encouraged to push their limits, and the sense of community here is incredibly motivating. The instructors ensure that each student is learning at their own pace while still challenging themselves to improve.

I’ve also had the chance to participate in competitions and events, which have not only boosted my confidence but also given me a deeper appreciation of the sport. These opportunities for practical application of our skills are something I really value.

Overall, my journey with the Bangladesh Taekwondo Union has been empowering and has helped me grow both physically and mentally. I am proud to be a part of this family and look forward to continuing my Taekwondo journey here.

Thank you, Bangladesh Taekwondo Union!

The coaches and instructors are highly skilled, patient, and truly dedicated to helping each student grow both physically and mentally. Their expertise in Taekwondo techniques and their ability to guide students of all levels make the training sessions both challenging and enjoyable.

One of the things I appreciate most is the emphasis on discipline, respect, and perseverance—values that are at the core of Taekwondo. These lessons extend beyond the training mat and have positively impacted my personal life as well. The environment at the Union is very supportive, and it feels like a community where everyone is encouraged to do their best.

Taekwondo is a very disciplined and scientific, martial art sports using protectors, head guard, chest guard, forearm guard, shin guard, groin guard etc for the safety of sensitive and delicate parts of body. So there is a very less probability of any accident or damage. In Taekwondo, legs are mostly used (80%) to hit an opponent. While is other Martial Arts, hands and legs are equally used. It is a dynamic fighting technique, which convents speed into power for attack and defense. Where as in other martial arts, muscle power is used to do so.

Some Rules and Regulation of Taekwondo Competition?

The standard of any sports is closely related with its competition rules and application. In this point of view, Taekwondo is a very developed game. In Taekwondo competition, each about consists of three rounds. The duration for each round is 3 minutes and there is a 1 minute break after completion of each round. The competitors must participate with the attitude of an ideal player and must be in uniform and equipped with guards. Each game is condected by four (4) judges and a jury board. Among the judges, one conducts the game as a referee. While the others distribute points. The scoring system is fully computerized. So there is no scope of any error or partiality.
